I will be going on a flight in a few hours, when they say have all electronics off, is a ipod off after holding the play button for a few minutes, or is there a specific way to turn it off?
holding the menu button only will bring it to the main menu from when ever screen you are on, thanks though
i have the namo 3rd generation (small square one) and on my ipod it says notes … but on my computer it doesn’t have anything… do i have to download somthing ..;. if so what … where … and how
ok after i plug in my ipod nano(4th gen) into my copmuter it syncs for a sec and disappers then after that (i koe the porblem is the “enable disk use”) then i try to add new videos or music into my music or video files the ones i pick not the whole list, but i cant beacue every time i press the sync button it says “cannot be synced. The Required disk cannot be found”. so the only time it sync is from the start when i plug it in so clearly my computer knows its there.
solutions that i tried that did not work
-control panel-system-something-device manger-search for new hardware (failed) “i see my apple device at the USB section of device manger, so i koe its there”
-enable disk use button(failed) becuse how do i enable disk use if i cant sync it to make it do that command
-restarting ipod(fialed)
-restoring to factory setting (failed)
-yahoo answer (unknown to this point)
little note
-i have window xp
-when the ipod auto syncs and finish it automatic eject itself from computer on the ipod screen but the ipod still appears in itunes
(so basically ipod says it has ejected from PC while the PC says its still connected) does this automatically i dont koe how to stop it

Open Question: Is it safe to charge an iPod Touch 2G with a HP Pocket PC charger?
Posted by: / Category: NanosHi! I don’t really know about these kind of stuff that well so I hope you guys can help (sorry the questions are a bit long haha):
1) I have just bought an iPod Touch 2G yesterday. I tried to charge it with an Ipod Nano charger (3rd Party) that I bought from Hong Kong a long time ago – it says something like “charger accessory not supported”. I’m guessing it’s because Hong Kong has different voltage output or maybe iPod Nano’s charger is not compatible with Touch’s? I’m a bit worry… even though it didn’t work I have plugged it in for few minutes – if it is because of the different voltage would that do any damage to my iPod?
2) In the end I found a charger for my old HP Pocket PC that I bought a year ago – it is one of those wall charger/adapter that you plug in your USB cable to it to recharge your pda. I tried it on my iPod Touch (with the iPod’s USB cable) and this time it actually worked. Would it be safe since it is not originally designed for iPods? The input on the charger says “100-240V~200mA 50-60Hz 12-17VA” and the output says “+5V = 1A”. I don’t know if this means it is safe to use with the iPod or not.
Hope you guys can help! Thanks!
